As much as Pakistan is striving to improve in tourism Corporation, this Royal visit will really improve the global image of Pakistan on so many levels. They are promoting Pakistani culture through different ways. But people are less appreciative regarding this, what has astonished people is Kate Middleton’s and Prince William’s dressing all these days. They are following Pakistani culture and her late mother in law footsteps and we are all in awe for this.

Kate Middleton wore a sky blue gown upon arrival to Pakistan, designed by Catherine Walker. She accessorized it with a gold clutch and earrings by Zeen Woman, a Pakistani brand. Her blue ombre gown, paired with a pajama, featured a dupatta-style drapery and round blue buttons on the sleeves. This simple yet elegant dress made her look class apart.

On her second day in Pakistan, she visited local schools in Islamabad to join children and engage in activities that highlighted Pakistan’s education system and its sustained development goals. Their Royal Highness sat on small chairs around a table with students and had a Q&A session with them. Kate Middleton chose to wear Maheen Khan’s ensemble on this day: a royal blue dress with intricate embroidery around the neckline, bell-shaped sleeves over straight pants, and, of course, a dupatta embracing Pakistani culture. She styled this look with Zeen Woman’s beaded chandelier earrings and flats by Asos. This was her first official activity from her trip to Pakistan.

Day 2 was scheduled to a meetup session with the Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. This beautiful and graceful woman chose the same colors as in our flag. She wore a Green coat again by Catherine Walker over a White pants and a dupatta by Generations which again is a proud Pakistani brand to style Duchess of Cambridge. To amp up her styling game she carried a dark Green clutch and wore dark Green heels but we couldn.t take our eyes off her Emerald ring!

Day two was followed by a reception which was hosted by Thomas Drew who is the British High Commissioner in Pakistan. The royal couple arrived in a traditional rickshaw at the venue. This ethereal couple looked nothing less than a dream couple both styled in Emerald color dresses. Kate Middleton wore a sequined gown by Jenny Packam accessorized with champagne color earrings and blow dried hair while Duke of Cambridge wore teal color shirwani having serpentine embroidery over collars and sleeve cuffs. His shirwani was designed by a Karachi based designer, Naushemian. Venue for the reception was the historic monuments of Pakistan in Islamabad.

What’s a trip to Pakistan without experiencing the natural beauty of this country? The Royal couple made a visit to Chitral along with their team. They were welcomed with a hand embroidered coat of Chitral, a Chitrali topi which was presented to Lady Diana as well upon her visit to Chitral. A local from Chitral gifted them an album was had all the memories captured when Lady Diana made her visit in 1991 wearing their traditional dresses. William and Kate had a visit to Hindu Kush Mountains and our beautiful Kalash valley.

We are hoping this 5 day visit will be a successful one. The duke and duchess have left some really positive and great comments about the hospitality and environment so far. They are keen to know about the business community in Pakistan, our aim towards combating climatic changes and ofcourse to build up a friendly relation between Pakistan and British!
