APPNA Oklahoma Golf Event 2025 Champions Health and Community

On May 4, 2025, the prestigious Gaillardia Golf & Country Club in Oklahoma City became more than just a venue for sport—it became a stage for philanthropy and community spirit. The APPNA Oklahoma Golf Event 2025, led by Dr. Rabeeya Nusrat (President, APPNA Oklahoma) and Dr. Iftikhar Ali Ch (Event Chair), was a resounding success, blending elegant leisure with a powerful purpose.

Organized as part of the APPNA Spring Meeting 2025, the event brought together physicians, professionals, and community members in a vibrant show of support for APPNA Oklahoma’s annual charitable initiatives. This year’s fundraiser aimed to support the APPNA Oklahoma Health Fair, scheduled for October 2025, a flagship event that provides free healthcare services to underserved populations across Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

The upcoming health fair—organized in collaboration with Integris Hispanic Outreach Initiative—will focus on reaching marginalized communities with free screenings, consultations, and medical aid. In recognition of this vital work, APPNA Oklahoma has also been awarded a grant from the Oklahoma State Medical Association Foundation, a milestone that highlights the impact of their ongoing community health efforts.

The golf event served as both a fundraising opportunity and a celebration of Pakistani-American civic engagement. Attendees included Dr. Faisal Latif, President-Elect of APPNA Oklahoma, and other active members of Oklahoma’s Pakistani physician community. Among the guests was Hooria Suhaib, co-owner of the Pakistani-American fashion brand HAC, who continues to champion cultural and charitable causes within the state.

The Oklahoma Pakistani community has long been recognized for its contributions to both cultural enrichment and public service. Through events like this, APPNA Oklahoma continues to exemplify its mission—blending medicine, service, and unity to uplift society.
